Terms and conditions

1. General

These Terms & Conditions apply to all installation services provided by RYNZ (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking an installation service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.


2. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for ensuring that:

  • The appliance supplied is suitable for the intended location.
  • Adequate access is available for installation and removal of appliances.
  • Existing plumbing, drainage, electrical supplies, isolation valves, and connections are safe and in working order.
  • The installation area is clear and accessible prior to our arrival.

Additional charges may apply if work cannot be completed due to restricted access or unsuitable existing services.


3. Existing Plumbing & Electrical Systems

RYNZ cannot be held responsible for faults, leaks, blockages, damaged pipework, defective electrical supplies, or any other issues relating to existing installations discovered before, during, or after installation.

If we believe an existing connection is unsafe or unsuitable, we reserve the right to refuse installation until the issue has been rectified.


4. Customer-Supplied Appliances

Where the appliance has been purchased by the customer, RYNZ accepts no responsibility for:

  • Manufacturing defects.
  • Transit damage.
  • Missing parts or accessories.
  • Incorrect dimensions or fitment issues.
  • Appliance faults occurring before or after installation.

5. Appliance Warranty

Any manufacturer’s warranty remains solely with the appliance manufacturer.

RYNZ provides an installation service only and is not responsible for warranty claims, product defects, or faults covered by the manufacturer.


6. Installation Service

We will carry out installations using reasonable skill and care in accordance with industry standards.

Should any issue arise as a direct result of our installation workmanship, we will investigate and rectify the issue where appropriate.


7. Limitation of Liability

RYNZ shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of income.
  • Loss of profits.
  • Consequential or indirect losses.
  • Damage arising from pre-existing defects.
  • Manufacturer faults or product defects.
  • Failures of existing plumbing, drainage, electrical systems, or property infrastructure.

Our total liability shall be limited to the value of the installation service provided.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.


8. Removal & Disposal of Old Appliances

Where appliance removal has been requested, the removed appliance becomes the responsibility of RYNZ unless otherwise agreed.

Customers should ensure that all personal items have been removed from the appliance before collection.


9. Photographs

RYNZ may take photographs before, during, and after installation for quality control, record keeping, insurance purposes, and marketing.

No personal information or identifiable customer details will be published without permission.


10. Payments

Payment is due upon completion of the installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

RYNZ reserves the right to charge interest and reasonable recovery costs on overdue accounts where permitted by law.


11. Cancellations

Customers should provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.

RYNZ reserves the right to charge a call-out fee where appointments are cancelled at short notice or where access is unavailable upon arrival.


12. Force Majeure

RYNZ shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, supplier delays, or other unforeseen events.
